CWS backup generator

Subject: CWS backup generator

FYI - June 21 - July 9th

We are starting construction on the CWS pump house - most likely next week. As part of the construction effort, we will be extending a portion of the pump house structure for the chlorine intake station. In order to support this extension, we need to drain and move the propone tank (the backup generator fuel source). We will also be pouring new concrete pads and laying down gravel to support the new generator, which we are moving outside, and adding an additional propane tank for a total of two tanks. The new generator is expected to be installed sometime late August/early September.

Due to these work projects, we will not have back power capability this summer. If we lose power, there will be no pressure in upper Brentwood and certain parts of RPHCC. We will also not have fire-fighting capability during a power outage (which we don't have anyway). The new generator will address this issue.

I wanted to give you a heads up in case you get questions during an outage. I left Jack and Matt messages on their voicemails. Matt Ferguson is the Brentwood HOA board President.

Let me or Bruce know if you have questions or would like to discuss.

Jeff
